Yes; however, if you shoot with us frequently, we ask that you become a member.
Rounds cost $6 instead of $10. Events are held for members only throughout the year, including picnics, New Years Day Party, Christmas Party, various holiday events, etc. More importantly, you are supporting our facility with your membership so that we can continue to operate and provide this great opportunity for hunters, fishermen, competitors, youth, and families.
A round for most shotgun sports consists of 25 clay targets, which corresponds to one box of 25 shotshells.
Yes. They can be purchased at the clubhouse.
No. We are a shotgun-only facility. 2-3/4-inch shells with 7, 8, 8.5, or 9 shot. 12 gauge, 20 gauge, 28 gauge and 410 bore. No 3-inch shells and no hunting loads are allowed.
We have skeet, trap, and modified targets (5-stand). New shooters can become familiar with each of these sports through research on the internet.

Yes, but we don't have regular classes, so arrangements will need to be made in advance with someone who will assist you.
Currently, there is a high school team that shoots at the club. The 4H group also sponsors a program where instructors work with young shooters.

All Hunters Safety courses in the State of Maryland are arranged through the Maryland Department of Natural Resources (DNR) through their website.

Come out to the club and shoot and chat with a member. Fill out an application and have the member sponsor you. The first year is $150. Each additional year is $125. Details are available on this website.
Yes, but they will still have to shoot with a member and be approved for membership through our normal process, which is detailed on this site.
Be familiar with club rules and safety guidelines which are on our website. Bring your own gun. Sign a waiver. After shooting one or two times as a guest we ask that you become a member if you wish to continue to shoot at the club.

Pick up your empties and place them in the garbage cans that are available on each of the fields. Do not leave ejected hulls on the ground for others to pick up.
Yes. Your squad should leave the field in the condition they found it.
Yes, depending on the size of the group. Novice or inexperienced shooters should be limited to 5 people, and arrangements need to be made in advance so a club member can assist. We sell ammunition but do not rent guns. See our schedule for shooting days.
Yes. Arrangements need to be made well in advance. There is a $300 fee for club use which does not include shooting expenses. For non-members, there is a $25 per round fee which includes a box of shells and a round of 25 targets.
